Synergetic Development of “Water Resource–Water Environment–Socioeconomic Development” Coupling System in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

The Yangtze River Economic Belt, which is an important development axis of China’s “T-shaped” strategy, has been challenged by water resource utilization and environment protection due to the rapid social economy. In this study, understand variation characteristics, competition cooperation relationship, optimal stable point synergetic capability “water resource–water environment–socioeconomic development” coupling system, 20 years data, from 1999 2018, at general, provincial, city scales were analyzed. results showed that Belt in 2011 was a mutation point; it fluctuated slightly before steadily rose after 2011, with average value 2.46. three subsystems all evolutionary state, evolution speed sorted socioeconomic > resources environment. subsystem had win–win other lose–lose relationship. Moreover, (0.8625,0.8236,1.5841). From spatial trend, west better than east south north. agglomeration heterogeneity 110 cities more obvious those 11 provinces. temporal gradually improved. Additionally, its rank obeyed Zipf’s rank-size rule, degree deviation reduced. Furthermore, can be divided into nine secondary urban agglomerations, western, central, eastern regions paid attention development, improvement, protection, respectively. “siphon effect” central greater “radiation effect”. This study provided method for effectively evaluating characteristics great significance resources.
